I LOVE music, movement, and entertaining children! There are so many amazing, postive benefits for everyone: the children, and their caregiver(s)! When children experience music & movement together, they begin to show personal development in emotional, social and cognitive and fine motor skills. When the caregiver(s) join in, the bonding experience strengthens. Also, let's just admit: it's fun to join together to sing, dance, and play instruments!

Music is a universal language. With music, everyone comes together and energy ebbs and flows in unique ways. Movement helps us grow physically and develop a better sense of our bodies, and what we can accomplish. Music & movement together play an important role in early-childhood development. Introducing children to music at a young age is the perfect way to activate their minds and create more neural connections to everyday activities.

Part of the reason I love instructing music and movement classes is seeing the personal growth of each individual child from class to class. Inclusion with children is VITAL. Children want to be seen and heard. Helping foster a sense of who they are becoming as an individual through their interests and feelings is very important. Seeing these developmental milestones accomplished fuel my passion, and is why I am always MOVIN' & GROOVIN'!

This blog will be a source of information regarding the music programs I instruct, personal experiences, and lots of miscellaneous fun. Be prepared for some laughs; after all, my husband calls me a human cartoon. Thanks for taking time to read!
